Is there a relationship between trust in an organization and emotional intelligence? researchers at the University ---- Teams represent a dominant approach to getting work done in a business environment. Creativity enables teams to solve problems and leverage opportunities through the integration of divergent thoughts and perspectives" summerise Barczak, Lasik, and Mulki in their work. of A study conducted by Charles& Arbor indicates the potential impact of organizational emotional intelligence on its trustworthiness. They define Organizational emotional intelligence as the organization's ability to succeed in coping with changes in attaining set goals during this time remain responsible and sensitive to the people within and outside of the organization. what they did was invented the organization trust factors and measure the intelligence such that the ways specific organizational emotional intelligence factors influence organizational trust as assessed by the Benchmark of Organizational Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Trust Inventory. The results show "a positive relationship between organizational emotional intelligence and organizational trust. Two of the organizational emotional intelligence factors, Organizational Responsiveness and Job Happiness, were found to uniquely contribute to the prediction of variance in organizational trust. This research can contribute to positive social change by encouraging leaders to value the importance of trust-based organizations and contributing factors. More trustworthy organizations are less likely to commit socially destructive practices such as massive layoffs for short-term gains, autonomy reduction to unilaterally control employees, and other trust-destroyers. Social change implications of this study may include building and sustaining trust which can be a powerful leadership tool for protecting against unethical and toxic work environments and creating an emotionally healthy culture that inspires employee loyalty, productivity, and commitment to positive social change."
